What age group were the people, were they first or second generation children of immigrants or immigrants themselves, etc etc. Basically, what is the context for this 97%?

It’s not that simple, but obviously if he’s going to say he’s “not particularly concerned” about it then that makes a whole lot of sense with what they’re trying to do with this tone-deaf idea.
