I know, right? I had just left chemistry lab and went to pee and saw the sign; I felt my stomach lurch! So I went to look at it and then in small print it had some sentence like “isn’t that awful?! Come to our student government meeting to discuss why comments like this are hurtful!” so I guess it was supposed to serve as real-life clickbait to get people to read about this meeting and go to it. The issue is that I doubt they anticipated that, you know, actual real Hispanics would see it and be disturbed by it. There were some other ones about disabled people and the LGBTQ community as well but I only took a picture of this one.
